We may not be fashion experts, but we say it’s okay for your home to rock white way after Labor Day. Though there is one color-related rule we do recommend following: buying a mattress over the long weekend. (You know, since mattresses are usually white.) Mattress companies use the three-day weekend as an excuse to offer all kinds of deals and promotions, and we aren’t expecting another major shopping holiday until Black Friday. Not sure where to start? Here are some mattress sales, many already vetted by our bed-in-a-box guide.

Leesa – Get up to $235 off a mattress from our AT editor’s pick for best bed-in-a-box company. We were won over by its construction as well as “earth-first” approach.

Helix – Helix recently revamped its customized mattress experience by giving the various mattresses (and their levels of support) names. You can select your own or take their sleep quiz to be automatically matched. Couples with different sleep preferences can even get varying levels of firmness. For Labor Day, you can save up to $150 off your purchase.

Allswell – Billing themselves as a one-stop shop for mattresses, you can get everything, from the bed to sheets to throw blankets, in one spot. Through September 5, all of that is also 20 percent off using the code LABORDAY.

Layla – How do you set your mattress apart in a flooded market? Layla’s are reversible, for a firmer or softer sleeping experience. All their mattresses are $100 off and come with a free pillow as part of their Labor Day sale.

Purple – Purple isn’t offering a discount on mattresses, but are throwing in a free set of sheets (up to a $129 value) while supplies last.

Tomorrow Sleep – All mattresses are $75 off and include two free pillows. Deal runs through September 9.

Nolah – Specifically designed for side-sleepers, Nolah offers two Labor Day bundles: up to $300 or two free pillows.

Eight Sleep – Save up to $250 off your purchase of one of the first “smart mattresses” on the market. All mattresses include a built-in sleep tracker and AI coach.

Wayfair – The mega-retailer has everything—including its own mattress brand. The Nora, a foam mattress with layers of support and cooling topper, is currently 20 percent off.
