If you are an avid reader, you are probably familiar with McSweeney's, the small publishing house founded by A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius author Dave Eggers. Recently, they launched their new children's imprint, McMullens, with the goal of producing great books for kids and families.

McMullens has begun by printing four books: one re-issue, two new works and a set of blank books touted as The Author-Illustrator Starter Kit. The imprint aims to publish ten books this year, and you can be sure they will be as innovative and fresh as the offerings for adults from McSweeney's. The first four books should be arriving in bookstores this month.

For now, you can order the books online at McSweeney's store. Check out the book bundle from McMullens that includes the first four books printed for $40.
