The Royals Leaked Their Christmas Card Right Before the Holiday and It Was Worth the Wait
We’ve been waiting eagerly to see what the royals’ annual Christmas card would look like. And with just two days before the holiday, our wish has been granted with a photo of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and baby Archie all looking merry and bright for the holidays.
Posted via Twitter by The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (@queenscomtrust), the Christmas card is a black and white gif with gold accents of the three family members—Harry and Meghan laughing in the back while Archie gets up close and personal with the camera. Cue the “awww”s.
“Just sharing the sweetest Christmas Card from our President and Vice-President, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone!,” said The Queens Commonwealth Trust on Twitter Monday. In case you aren’t familiar with the organization, it’s led by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and works to support the young change-makers across the member states of Britain. It’s a place where young leaders can share smart insight and ideas on health, education, the environment, and more for a better tomorrow.
The Christmas card reads “Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year From Our Family to Yours” in gold and white font over the image. Also, when you press play, glittery ornaments around the Duke and Duchess twinkle and shine. Gotta love a good gif, especially when it involves the royal family!
The family of three is in Canada for the holidays visiting Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, according to Town & Country. We have yet to get our hands on the official Christmas card from Prince William and Kate Middleton, but there’s no doubt that George, Charlotte, and Louis will look absolutely adorable—just like Archie.
