Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, uploaded a video to the official Archewell Instagram page in honor of her 40th birthday. She was joined by actress Melissa McCarthy to ask 40 friends to donate 40 minutes of their time “to help mentor a woman who is mobilizing back into the workforce.” And while doing this broadcast last week, she showcased her own work-from-home spot — an absolutely gigantic desk.

Markle did the broadcast from what appears to be in her home office in the Montecito, California that she shares with her husband Prince Harry and their two children. Markle’s desk isn’t actually a desk, as Domino pointed out. It’s actually an 83-inch-long dining table from Classic Home, which is the brand’s Bordeaux pine wood table that features hand-turned legs and a rough farmhouse-style finish.

It looks like something out of a villa in Tuscany or an ancient French chateau. It’s shabby chic that leans more chic than shabby. And it’s massive. As the Classic Home description reads, the table can comfortably seat six.

Right now, the table is on sale for 33 percent off at Warehouse Direct USA.

Now, of course, most don’t have the space nor the wallet to invest in Markle’s “desk.” But you have to give credit to Markle for thinking outside the box when it comes to designing her perfect home office — desks are really only so big, and if you can fit a dining table into your WFH space, why not do that?

If you do decide to go big, the real challenge is keeping that tabletop clutter-free like Markle does — and with that, good luck.
