Memory Card Got Deleted? Don't Take Any More Pictures

If you've ever been on vacation, or just had a really bad "oops" moment — you know how terrible and sinking of a feeling it is when you lose all of your photos on your digital camera. There are a few tips and tricks to keep in mind when this awful moment presents itself.

DO NOT take any more photos: Once you've realized that your memory card has been deleted, do not take one single photo. If you do, that will put the last nail in the coffin of your photos — you won't be able to fully retrieve them. If you've read your full camera instruction manual you'll know, or from previous experience.

DO download a free software recovery program: There are several leading software recovery programs available for free download. Several we recommend are: Recuva due to its user ratings and over all user friendly format. Easeus is another great free software recovery system. It will also back up all of your software to ensure you don't lose anything should anything disastrous happen in the future.
