Merging Various Styles in One Space

Merging Various Styles in One Space

While surfing the internet this past weekend I was in awe of these four rooms. They all manage to merge several styles of decor into one space. I think it's more effective when you can have, for instance, a farmhouse look that also includes a modern mid century something or other. Enjoy the view of these inspired spaces…

1. This kitchen found on Cote Maison is a wonderful merging of colonial, modern and somewhat industrial bones.

2. The intimate shot of the headboard, found on Design For Life, shows how you can have a Renaissance style headboard upholstered with a very modern textile fabric. Placed between two very modern nightstands and some mid century-esque lamps — this space is quite eclectic but inviting.

3. This vignette of the bedroom wall, found on Notes On Design, was very effectively decorated. In my opinion the use of the string lights, fun gold mirror and the globe as a lamp, are all very pleasing against an all white wall and floor.

4. The office I found on The Decorista is so awesome. I love that long wooden table and the white exposed brick. Also bringing in the gold chandelier was a great statement piece to this room.
