Messiest Closet? Eleanor's House

Name: Eleanor
Hood: nameless neighborhood between Gramercy and Murray Hill
Dimensions: various

Plea for help:

These are sad, sad sights.

Let's begin with exhibit A ("exterior.jpg"): the heavy oversize doors of my foyer closet fell off the tracks a couple years ago (yes a couple
YEARS) and I was unable to successfully complete the removal of the doors (still stuck in one or two places) so they remain, half on, half off.

Exhibit B ("between.jpg") showcases my ingenious use of the new space created by the two askew doors to put old canvasses and a shoe rack I bought for organizational purposes.

Exhibit C ("floor.jpg") is a good view of the ugly office carpet which I removed by hand from every square inch of my studio apartment, except for the closet because I couldn't get past the doors.

Exhibits D and E ("inside.jpg" and "inside2.jpg") give a glimpse into why I needed the shoerack, and a mishmash of the other things residing in the closet, namely coats, a vacuum cleaner that may or may not work, rolls of art paper, discarded shopping bags and shoe boxes.

Exhibit F ("top.jpg") is a nice view of the top of the closet which consists of two deep shelves that I cannot reach, some linens, two games, and a toaster oven box (again, apologies for the obscured view, but i couldn't get past the doors).

Finally, exhibit G ("sleep.jpg") is a photo of my dog Lucy, asleep. Lucy enjoys sleeping in the closet but there is barely any room left for her.

I need help. If you won't do it for me, do it for a little dog named Lucy.
