Miley Cyrus’ Mom and Sister Are Getting a Design Show on Bravo
This might be the most shocking Miley Cyrus news yet. And no, it’s not about a risqué performance or her relationship with a Hemsworth. Did you know her mother and sister are interior decorators? Well, they are, and they’re getting their own show on Bravo.
While Miley’s younger sister Noah is following in her (and their dad, Billy Ray Cyrus) footsteps with a music career, mom Tish and older sister Brandi have their own thing going.
Called Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer, the premise of each thirty minute episode is that both Tish and Brandi pitch the client their own solution for a design dilemma for a specific room, to work within a given budget. The client then picks the winning idea and both Cyrus women work together to execute the renovation. According to the trailer, drama and hilarity are sure to ensue.
According to their bios on Bravo, the women have spent “years perfecting their passion for interior design in their own homes” and are now taking “their talents to the streets of their hometown, Nashville, to share their skills with friends and word-of-mouth clients.” Neither have any actual design credentials (at least that they share in their bios), but let’s watch them knock down some walls, shall we?
The trailer shows plenty of demolition happening. Of course, while knocking down said walls, Tish makes a wrecking ball reference (I guess mom jokes are just as bad as dad jokes). No worries, Smilers (FYI, that’s what Miley fans call themselves), it looks like Miley shows up for at least one reveal—calling the room “the cutest place ever.” To be fair, from what we can see, it does look pretty cute.
