Lush for Less: Mix Faux & Real Greenery

Lush for Less: Mix Faux & Real Greenery

Every year we try to decide if we'll be purchasing real greenery (or scavenging from our neighbors trash pile the day after they bring home their tree), or going with the faux pre-lit variety. Eddie Ross uses both at the same time for a twisted look that takes less time and costs a little less!

While real greenery smells amazing and obviously looks the most real (you know…since it is and all), faux pre-lit greenery is less expensive and comes with the twinkle lights already in place. To cut down on costs and make a big lush greenery look, Eddie suggests using both at the same time.

For the doorway pictured above he has twisted the two together, saving you time spend wrapping them with lights and a little cash from creating the look with all live foliage. It's a great tip, especially for those who have a few faux pieces on hand but are looking to make things look a little more lavish this holiday season.
