We've been in the mood for fun pops of color—but of the hanging variety! Browsing the Apartment Therapy LA Flickr pool presented us with lots of inspiration, though our definition of mobile is a bit loose. We like traditional mobile ideas, of course, but have also been on the hunt for any fun ways to hang color.
Mobiles can be store-bought, do-it-yourself-created and as we previously established, not even really a mobile (well for the purposes of this post, anyway). We've actually been leaning toward hanging up some tissue paper pom poms to bring in some color into our apartment. We've been hooked on the idea ever since we saw Jennifer Chenoweth's bedroom in her East Austin home.
Mobiles (and hanging, mobile-like art pieces) continue to be a popular choice for interiors because they infuse spaces with energy and movement, as well as break up the monotony of traditional art pieces. Have you incorporated a mobile or a mobile-like piece in your space? Did you buy it or make it? Tell us your energy and movement infusing ideas!
