Modular Desktop Organizer Is a Pegboard For the Desk

Pegboards, usually resigned to the garage or workshop, are an excellent solution for the home office organization woes. Don't believe me? Check out these home offices with pegboard walls. Organized and fun displays, right? What if you took this idea and moved from the vertical to the horizontal? That's the idea behind B&A's Modo (Modular Desktop Organizer)...

With Modo you now have endless combinations for customization. Plug the aluminum pins into any combination and you are ready to go (examples in the video). There are 4 cable management channels and 3 USB flash drive slots. Modo can be used to organize anything from pens, letters, paper clips, push pins, USB flash drives, CDs, sticky note pads, charging and sync cables, phones or tablets (with or without a case) and much much more. Modo blends in easily at home or work.

The uses are open ended and pretty much customizable to whatever needs (and mess) gracing your desk and workspace: book stand, iPad display, pencil/pen holder, USB cable holder and guide, desktop ring toss's all there.

Like the idea behind Modo? It's currently a Kickstarter project and just $20 gets you the Modo Early Birds Pledge - a Bamboo board, 16 long aluminum pins and 4 short aluminum pins. Not a bad deal, and possibly a long term solution to a more organized 2013 (B&A is aiming for a May delivery).
