modularArts: Green Goodness for Your Walls

Instead of hanging art on your wall why not "art"-ify the wall itself?

We've seen these types of wall textures done in retail, hospitality and office applications and we think that we'll be seeing it crossover into more residential spaces.

Colin at Treehugger did a post on wallpanels by modularArts which are super green as well.

Made from a non-toxic mineral composite, they don't off-gas VOC's or formaldehyde. A low-VOC installation kit is available as well.

The panels are highly textural, sculptural and can add a ton of interest to one of the most challenging things to deal with - a large or awkward expanse of wall space.

It is a nice alternative to decals and wallpaper - the monotone aspect will appeal to those who prefer their color to come from their furniture and objects as opposed to their wall treatments.
