MoMA Store

We could spend hours hanging out in the MoMA store on Spring Street. A lot of the items are fun and colorful, so it can be hard to distinguish the childrens' items from the grown up ones. We had a difficult time picking out just a few items to showcase here, but if you're looking for a unique gift or toy- look no further than the games and puzzles at MoMA.

How about this Chair Game? Remember Jenga? Well here's a nice change from those wooden blocks. It's the same idea but probably easier for little hands to grasp. 24 chairs in 8 different designs are stacked on top of each other in any way until they all come tumbling down.

Or how about Muji's New York City in a Bag? Nine wooden structures including the Chrysler Building and the 1939 MoMA building inspire architects to be.

For only $38 you can purchase not one, but two rainbows, and all of the delight that comes with them. The Double Rainbow Maker uses solar power and two Swarovski crystals to create a wonderous display of colors sure to liven up any room.

And if these earthly adventures aren't enough for you, maybe what you need is a playhouse that goes to the moon. The Moon Rocket Playhouse is made from recycled cardboard and kids will have fun adding their own decorative touch to the mostly white rocket.

If you're in the mood for inspiration, you'll find plenty at MoMA's online store. Don't forget to check out their sale items. Modern Kids accessories are all on sale. A Modern Kids smock is $9.95 so your little ones can get messy and let their creativity reign!
