More Casual Summer Entertaning: Throw a Popsicle Party

Remember our first post about casual summer entertaining? It was all about ice cream and ice cream toppings. Popsicles are king in our house during the hot months so we're planning to host a popsicle party soon.

You could easily buy a few boxes of store-bought popsicles but we think part of the fun is preparing for the party. If you agree, consider making your own. It can be as simple as some combination of juice, yogurt, and fruit. The only other supplies you'll need are LOTS of popsicle molds. It's an easy, inexpensive way to entertain adults and children with a little bit of prep work. And hey, you won't have to turn on your oven in the heat!

Bridgetown Blog has been making popsicles with Greek yogurt - find their recipe here.
