Mother's Day is this Sunday, so don't forget to shower your mom and the moms in your life with love (and also flowers, if that's their thing). Good news is that grocery stores are dropping some sweet smelling deals for those looking to bestow bouquets. Here are a few of the bargains to be had.
German grocery chain Lidl is bringing the blooms with its Mother's Day deals. A dozen roses are just $7.99, ten-stem tulip bunches start at $4.99, and there are mixed bouquets and potted plants starting at $3.99. All floral arrangements come with a five day freshness guarantee. And if you want to do a little something more for mom, the store is having a sale on everything you need to make her breakfast in bed.
If you're not near a Lidl, Whole Foods has its own deals for Mother's Day. Starting May 9 through May 15, shoppers will be able to purchase 20-stem tulip bouquets at the reduced price of $15 in the U.S. and $18 in Canada. And if you're an Amazon Prime member, you get even more savings; the same bouquet is $10 in the U.S. and $12 in Canada.
And even if you wait until the last minute, you won't have to grab a sad gas station bouquet. Prime Now will be offering free two-hour delivery of fresh flowers during Mother's Day weekend.
