Muji Debuts Small Kitchen Appliances
Minimalists, rejoice: Japanese retailer Muji brings their pared-down aesthetic to small kitchen appliances.
Designed by industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, the rice cooker ($195), electric kettle, and toaster (both $95) are sleek and pared down, in his "Super Normal" way. They've also got the function to back up the form; the kettle boils water in 80 seconds, and the rice cooker has a wooden spoon stored in its lid.
