MUJI Body Fit Cushion
In celebration of May Day, I’m breaking with tradition and giving a shout out to the Japanese Giant, MUJI. After rounding up the best Poufs and the best Beanbags, this new creation was introduced to me this week as it is appearing in US stores for the very first time. Already a hit in Japan, where it was introduced to appeal to those with small spaces in need of super flexible furniture options, the Body Fit is a sort of memory foam beanbag that holds and molds to your body. OK, went to the store and sat on it and photographed it and here’s the skinny. The cushion is sort of a firm, sort of a memory foamy – but definitely there are pieces inside – bean bag. It’s not dissimilar to the Yogibo Mini reviewed here.
It’s small and super utilitarian and great for youthful folks in small spaces. While I was in the store people kept coming up and sitting in it and going, “Oh, this feels so good.” 🙂
