Tucked away in the Outer Richmond, Muzzy’s Attic sells secondhand furniture, rugs, art, and home accessories like ceramics, tableware, and linens. While items used to be spread out over two floors, they’re now all crammed into one small ground-floor space. The shop is not for someone who wants a streamlined shopping experience with everything neatly arranged in vignettes. This is a place that invites serious rummaging and moving things around to see what’s behind them.
Since items are sold on consignment, you never know what you’ll find. While most things were more antique-y than modern, we did find a few items that were appealing, and they were, mostly, reasonably priced: a table ($100), a vintage French poster ($900), a teapot ($20), a vintage metal soapdish ($6), a simple white tray ($20), a letter “N,” a wooden shoe last.
