Kim wrote in to share the enchanting party she hosted for her daughter and her fairy friends: We decided on a Fairy Garden theme for my daughter Kate's 3rd birthday party based on her love for Tinkerbell and all things magical. I started by designing the invitation in bright, cheerful colors and carried the theme throughout the paper goods at the party.

Inspired by Amy Atlas, I created a full dessert table with personalized cookies by Sweetopia, custom oreos by Sweeties by Kim, a gorgeous cake and cake pops by local bakers, and cupcakes and cheesecakes made by yours truly. The dessert table was accented with fabric, poms and a butterfly garland I created. Butterflies, flowers and poms were hung throughout the house and outside.

Kate wore a full tutu, handmade by my mom, along with a custom flower tank top from Modern Frills, flower hair clippies from Dolce Vita Mia, a crown from True Love Found and wings. She was a gorgeous little fairy!

As the little girl guests arrived, they were greeted and led to get dressed up in their own tutus, wings (halo heaven) & wands. The girls were adorable! For an activity, all of the kids were given butterfly nets, and tulle "butterflies" were thrown from a second story window for them to catch!

The invitation designs, cupcake toppers, labels and more are available in my Etsy shop. For more resources, photos & DIY tips, please visit my blog, The Tom Kat Studio.

Thanks Kim!
