My Room: Princess &amp Firecracker

My Room: Princess &amp Firecracker

We think Jodi's girls will live happily ever after in their room fit for non-frilly princesses. She tells us more: I wanted to create a shared space with a touch of a princess theme. I had trouble finding how to create that theme without overdoing it with a character or Disney theme. I chanced upon your site, then Boodalee, where I saw a Vintage Cinderella poster and everything snowballed from there.

It took me a long time to find the fabric, which I found in Heather Ross's new Far Far Away II. The biggest challenge was getting my thoughts together. I just really did a little bit here and there until it all came together! I definitely wanted to mix modern and vintage pieces together and found most of my inspiration from Ohdeedoh. I was hooked once I saw Ashley Ann's Nursery and Meg's Read rooms. Still my favorites but there are many, many more I love.

The girls and I love our new space and thank Ohdeedoh for providing all the inspiration and rooms to research.
