We're charmed by the playfulness of Clark's room. Carrie tells us a little about how this room came together: When we first started Clark's nursery we had no preconceived notions as to the design of the room.
We started with the Plycraft rocker that has been in my husband's family for over 30 years and the ducduc crib which we happened upon on craigslist. From there we just started to acquire things we liked, such as the cow skin rug. We found the letters in a sale bin at Urban Outfitters, the Sam Flores pillow was a wedding gift, and the comic strip that hangs above the dresser is an original Warner Brothers comic strip from 1962 with the artist's hand written annotations that my grandfather collected. The quilt was designed by my husband and made by his grandmother and mother. The entire room came in under $1,000!
