Leftovers never looked so good. Katharine shares resources for her daughter's room: Since Finlay is our 4th, much of her nursery is comprised of leftovers from her older siblings. The room was originally painted this way for our oldest daughter, so when we found out she was a girl we kept it the same.
The accent wall is painted Benjamin Moore Red Tulip and the remaining three are BM Pink Petals. The flowers are wall decals from Etsy. The pom pom/paper lantern piece in the corner is a DIY inspired from a nursery tour I saw on Ohdeedoh awhile back.
My favorite part of her room is the artwork above her changing table. The Ferris-wheel photograph and birdhouse print are from Etsy. The owl and embroidery hoop piece were gifts (and both from Etsy, I believe). The "i love you print" I got for a steal off Gilt.com. The square frame is just wrapping paper from Paper Source. The "F" is from Urban Outfitters. I painted the tiny tree on a small canvas. And the picture of Finlay was taken by a wonderful photographer that did her newborn shots.
Above her bookshelf is a little shelf with a pewter cup that was my husband's as a baby and the framed silver fork and spoon were a gift that I put in a shadow box. The little rocker and old teddy bear were also my husband's. I ordered the beautiful fabric for the crib skirt, sheet, and little boudoir pillow and had them made by someone on Etsy. I love the way the room turned out. It makes me happy to sit and look around as I rock Finlay to sleep.
