My Room: Amelia

Alice fanatic or not, we think you'll agree this is a lovely room for a little girl. Jessica shares: I absolutely have an obsession with Alice in Wonderland. I always knew that if I ever had a daughter I'd want to do an Alice in Wonderland inspired nursery. As soon as I found out baby #2 was a girl, I immediately went into planning mode.

I wanted the nursery to be inspired by Alice in Wonderland and be a blatant in-your-face explosion of Alice. I also wanted a vintage feel. The lighter pink wall color is Rose Petal (Olympic Paint) and the darker pink is Raffia Cream (Olympic Paint). The stripes below the chair rail are a subtle nod to the Cheshire Cat. Other subtle nods can be seen in the oversized Rusty Key (Home Goods), handpainted Dollhouse Boookcase (Michael's), plush rabbit (Restoration Hardware Kids), oversized Pocket Watch Clock (Pier One), and Hand-Hooked Queen Crown Pillow (Home Decorators).

Small personal touches are also thrown in throughout the room including the shadow box I made which were inspired by ceramic alphabet balls I found in the dollar section at Michaels.

Readers, you can see more of this Alice-inspired room on Metamorphouse. Thanks Jessica!
