Natural Egg Dying

Natural Egg Dying

There's something a bit more romantic (not to mention healthy) about the idea of dying your eggs with daffodils than FD&C yellow #6. Rae Grant got back to nature with her egg dying this year and you can, too.

Rae dyed her eggs using paprika, grape juice, beet juice and daffodils for subtler, but still very pretty hues. She's sharing tips and ideas for other natural dyes you could try on her blog My Little Hen.

Rae is the author of Crafting Fun and Cooking Fun and the forthcoming Homemade Fun.
