We're focusing on the great outdoors this month. The warmer months bring plenty of fun outdoor activities but sometimes nothing beats a long meandering walk. We often take long walks, and, even in the city, we gather lots and lots of rocks, sticks, and leaves. But what to do with nature's bounty? Create a Waldorf nature table. But having an open nature display may not always work.
Maybe you're like Meg of Sew Liberated who has curious cats in the house. To fix the problem, Meg came up with the wonderfully simple idea of creating a nature corner using an enclosed corner cabinet. When baby wants to explore the materials, the cabinet is open. But it's easily closed when the kitty cat comes around. We also like the fact that the corner cabinet takes up no floor space and makes use of an otherwise unused corner.
