What’s New and What’s Leaving Netflix in May

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan reunite for this romantic comedy from the early age of the internet. Joe’s chain of corporate bookstores threatens to put Kathleen’s independent shop out of business, but, through the magic of AOL screen names, they’ve been falling for one another without knowing! It’s enough to make anyone nostalgic for Y2K and dial-up modems.

Everyone’s favorite time-traveling Scottish romance has moved to the States. Jamie and Claire’s quiet life in the North Carolina colony is in peril once again, this time by the looming American War of Independence.

Netflix’s smash sci-fi hit returns, but our heroes have left the familiar surroundings of Hawkins, Indiana far behind: Eleven struggles to adjust to a new life in California, Hopper seeks to escape from a Soviet prison camp, and a new threat from the Upside Down is ready to reveal itself. Stranger Things’ epic fourth season will be released in two blocks of episodes, with the second batch scheduled to drop July 1.
