Netflix Just Announced the “Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!” Premiere Date and It’s So Soon
If you binge-watched all of “Queer Eye” Season 4 in one sitting and still want more of the Fab Five, you’re in luck. You don’t have to wait until Season 5 for more fierceness and feelings, because Netflix is releasing a brand-new special season called “Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!” globally on November 1. Yep: Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France are bringing their expertise to Tokyo.
“Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!” is a four-episode special season that features some very special guests. The Fab Five will be joined by model and actress Kiko Mizuhara and comedian Naomi Watanabe. Together, they’ll “make-better four heroes while experiencing Japanese cuisine, fashion, design, grooming and culture firsthand,” a Netflix press release states.
This isn’t the first time the Fab Five have gone international. In June 2018, Netflix released a surprise 20-minute mini-episode called “Yass, Australia!” where the experts journeyed to the small Australian town of Yass.
A teaser for the Tokyo special shows the Fab Five group-texting with Mizhuhara and planning their trip.
The Fab Five filmed “Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!” back in January and February. We don’t know any details about the heroes yet, but based on these Instagram pics, the episodes are going to be packed with fashion, feelings, and fun.
And food, of course.
Antoni is going to tell us alllll about Japanese butter.
We can’t wait to see the series of events that led to these makeovers.
We’re also excited to see Mizuhara and Watanabe become honorary members of the Fab Five.
“Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!” premieres globally on Netflix on November 1.
