I Tried Parachute’s New Bedding and It Feels Just Like a Well-Worn T-Shirt
As much as I try to get behind the silky smooth pajamas trend, nine times out of ten, I end up sleeping in a well-worn T-shirt. There’s just something comfy and comforting about those sleep shirts you’ve had forever—and now you can get that same feel with bedding, too. Recently, Parachute launched a new line of brushed cotton bedding that’s designed to feel exactly like that favorite tee, and we’re pretty excited.
Like the rest of Parachute’s bedding, the brushed cotton collection is made of 100% cotton in a family-owned factory in Portugal. It’s OEKO-TEX certified free of harmful and synthetic dyes, and can be purchased in sets with or without a top sheet. The oh-so-soft bedding comes in four different shades: white, ivory, grey, and surplus (a muted green hue).
I’ve been using the sheets for the past couple of weeks and I adore how soft they feel. I’ve never been a huge fan of crisp sheets; rather, I prefer bedding that feels like it’s been around for awhile—it’s just so comforting. This bedding is exactly that, and I have no plans to go back. As for color, I opted for the grey and coal shade and like how the sheets go with my white duvet cover without being too matchy-matchy.
The duvet cover set is particularly notable for the eye-catching two-tone design. Unlike the sheets, the duvet cover and matching shams can be purchased in three color combinations: white and ivory, surplus and ivory, or grey and coal. Any of the neutral shades are perfect for a minimalist, cozy bedroom, and provide a good base for decorating with colorful throws and pillows. Pricing starts at $149 for a sheet set and $289 for a duvet cover set.
This has been a big summer for Parachute, with the launch of other new arrivals including bath towels, a travel kit, and a new robe style.
