Our home is super cozy with added hints of boho charm and we love to entertain during the holidays. Hunting for our apartment took 6 months and we found it during the worst storm in NYC called Sandy. We were the only ones at the open house and this made it easy to win over the homeowners. What impressed us the most is that our apartment faced north and has lots of natural light, which is a huge deal living in the city. The best way to pass time while at home is cooking, reading, and burning candles.

Apartment Therapy Survey:

My Style: Boho chic with eclectic touches.

Inspiration: Danish Hygge style.

Favorite Element: Sheepskin rugs create the hygge feel I desire, while the French doors add personality and charm to our space.

Biggest Challenge: My biggest challenge was sharing our home on social media as I’ve always been a private person. My journey on Instagram has taught me that it’s okay to inspire others through your home. I’ve helped people cope with their day-to-day lives, which is so fulfilling.

Proudest DIY: I’ve never built anything from scratch but I love to create arts and crafts DIY projects and inspiration walls.

Biggest Indulgence: Can I add two indulgences? Quartz top dining table, which is non-porous and easy to clean, and the Jonathan Adler Maar table lamp, which is the grandest accent in our home.

Best Advice: If you live in a small space find the best use of storage like a bed with drawers underneath and storage boxes for small items. Good storage keeps a home clutter free and organized. Also, plants are necessary to add a good energy flow in your space.
