Get paid to share your music: NexTune wants you to profile your own music and in return you'll get nexCents towards the purchase of new-to-you music. To build their database, they need people to profile the music, which is where you can get paid in credits. A free trial is available, and they're giving away $300 in credit and a video iPod each of the first two weeks in June.

Let's back up here...NexTune is a playlist maker that allows you to build playlists based on moods and descriptors, which is extremely useful as far as we're concerned. Fabulous for parties, dates or even just cleaning the house, there's no need to set the whole playlist up, just let it do its thing after you choose a few keywords.

Trade CDs you don't want anymore for nexDollar credits. This is where being a member of the site pays off, because you don't need to be a member to use the site, but the prices for new and used CDs are cheaper. Gold membership scores you free shipping on new-to-you CDs.

If you have more time than money, and love categorizing your music, this could be a great opportunity. If you have more money than time, we'd recommend you utilize the program to set up playlists; all major formats are supported, including DRM, and you can load the playlists into iTunes and Media Player, among others, after they're built.
