Nadia Yaron and Myriah Scruggs of furniture and textile design studio Nightwood have opened a pop-up shop at be@schermerhorn, a new condominium in downtown Brooklyn. Ms. Yaron says that they're "making furniture for people like us, who want something original, local and made of environmentally friendly materials." The 4,000-square-foot shop is open through Oct. 31, and features Nightwood's conceptual and functional, one-of-a-kind furnishings, all made from recycled wood.
