No Assembly Required Shoe Racking

Because the sky is literally the limit when it comes to the multiple use for shipping pallets, we thought we would pass along one more. Always having had a problem organizing the shoes in our own closet, we thought this was a pretty great idea (especially since there's zero construction to do).

We've talked about racking for shoes like this in the past, though if you're space is too small for tools, this can seem like more of a challenge than not. This version simply requires a shipping pallet and a closet to place it in. To keep things secure, we might suggest fixing it to a stud (or two) with a thin piece of leather, creating a tether to hold everything in place, even when filled to the brim with shoes.

This could be a great way to keep your shoes in an entryway, hall closet, or if your space allows it — outside your front door to keep the dirt at bay.

What do you think? Great idea or better luck next time?
