Nylon Stuffed Animals

We love giving baby stuffed animals to cuddle but always wonder why so many of them are "surface wash" only. Yuck.

Slim the Monkey from Soft Goods Design solves the dilemma. Slim is made of nylon so we're thinking he's easy to wipe clean. And, of course, you can pop him in the washing machine.

If you're looking for something with a bit more heft, check out Felicia the Hippo. Mitzi the Elephant and Polka the Pig also are available.

Slim and friends are based on vintage patterns from the 1950s and updated with bright colored nylon fabric. The nylon toys have no sewn on features so there is no danger of choking on small parts.

The nylon animals range from $40 to $53, available here. We just found out that the code "TODAYSHOW1" gets you free shipping.
