Offbeat Entryways

We like a home with a sense of humor, especially one that greets you at the front door. We've seen a lot of charming, funny entryway designs lately. Some of these are prototypes that aren't yet available. Others are easy to buy. All available items are marked with prices. Click below for more.

Top: These Big Clips are from Showhome in England. They're 19-39 British Pounds, and they do ship internationally.

This Tree Hanger by Harald Hynell is made in Sweden. For an American version (made of the real thing), check out hooks from Live Wire Farm.

This photo is from Kathleen Hills' Entryway in England. To see more of her space, click here.

This Coat Tree Wall Sticker is available from Ferm Living for $90. Add wall-mounted hooks for coats and bags along the branches.

Literalism is back. These Hang Wall Hooks by Seletti are available at Lekker for $68.

This keyplug by lamaisondemarina is a prototype, but we see it as inspiration for a simple DIY project.

This Hub ab Coat Rack by Nils Holger Moorman is from Germany. The sculptural concept is very cool.

This Harry Allen Come Here Wall Hook is $88 at the MCA Store in Chicago. If you want a look like Kathleen Hills' above, these are a good bet.

These Concrete Bulb Hooks from Modern Dose are $24.95. The round shape would probably be very easy on your coat.

This design is called Drop, made by Julian Appelius, part of the Cut n' Go Collection.

This Symbol Coat Rack by Desu is $395 - $445. During the summer, when you don't need a coat, the hooks lie flat. In winter, they drop down for storage.
