Would you want to know what radio station your friend is listening to right now? Neither would I, but it seems the BBC thinks so. The Olinda concept is intended to bring social networking to hardware other than your computer.
The idea is that you can select a group of friends to be represented by different lights on the device. When a light comes on, that friend is online and you can press the button to tune into the same show that he or she is currently listening to. Maybe I am not as addicted to Facebook as others are and am completely missing the point of a social networking radio. What do you say? Do you see yourself using this?
