Online Lost and Found

We all know what a powerful tool the Internet is for connecting us with ideas, people, and things, so why not lost toys as well?

At Lost My, you can report a found toy, or look up a lost toy. Using the classified to post or search is free, but you can also purchase a LostMyLovely ID tag for $10. It attaches to your toy and if you lose it, the finder can contact you easily using the website and your unique code. Going through the website means you don't have to share your personal information. The website will even arrange for the mailing of the item through their office. It kind of feels like the "On Star" of the toy world.

It's a cute idea, and the website also has favorite stories of lost loveys and well as ideas for where to get a replacement if you can't find your lost toy.

Even though our daughter doesn't have a lovey, we've heard how difficult life can be if a special lovey is lost...especially one that usually accompanies your child to sleep! This seems like a good idea, and hopefully, the more people know about it, the more it will work.

What do you think? Head to the website for more information.
