This colorful and open shelving kitchen by Shed Built Architects is in Seattle's Seward Park neighborhood. Love the cabinets? They're from Re-nest favorite Kerf Designs! See more photos of the great layout after the jump.
The 1964 home was originally designed by Seattle architect Ibsen Nelson but the space was beginning to feel a bit small and outdated. The space was opened up by removing a wall between the adjacent laundry and pantry, which serves to maximize the natural light as well as showcases the high ceilings. The mix of colorful open and closed shelving provides plenty of storage and displays dishware nicely.
