Organizing Tips For The Home Hack

This month's Home Hacks and DIY posts motivated many of us to dig through our sewing boxes, craft rooms and garages and make something. Sometimes finding the correct scissors, fabric scraps or grommets take longer than the actual project. So here are some tips for organizing your project area.

We aren't all lucky enough to have entire rooms dedicated to making things (see Martha's ultimate workroom). But even small spaces can be organized.

Martha Stewart has many great examples of best ways to store your goods and even has handy checklists for how to stock your craft and sewing
rooms. Her website offers instructions for making creative storage boxes and organizers (see links below). HGTV has an excellent list of DIY projects and images of inspiring and organized craft rooms.
