After creating our own nurseries, helping friends set up theirs, and looking at numerous photos of nurseries, we've boiled it down to one tip when setting up a nursery.

Our number one tip for setting up a nursery is -- drumroll -- creating play space on the floor. We wrote about this before, but we can't emphasize it enough. No matter how small your space is, try to carve out a cozy, soft and safe place for you and your baby to play on the floor. Pile up cushions, lay down a soft rug, or use a play mat or quilt. It's a great spot to read to your baby or just to cuddle.
