Inspired to squeeze the most life (and al fresco living) out of what’s left of summer — or, in my case in Texas, planning for when it’s actually cool enough to hang outdoors while the sun is up again — I popped over to Wayfair’s birthday sale this week to see what kind of end-of-season steals they might have in store.

Whether you’re scouring this site and Pinterest, carefully plotting a redesign of your deck or outdoor spaces from somewhere safely air conditioned (like me), or reluctantly planning ahead to the inevitable moment when it’s time to pack up the pool and patio for the year, Wayfair has some great prices on outdoor furniture (helloooo, $19 hammocks) and furniture covers, as well as loads of inexpensive decor ideas to help you squeeze the most out of the easy, breezy summer days that remain.

Here are my six picks under $100 to celebrate, inspired by Apartment Therapy Projects Editor Dabney Frake’s swoon-worthy recent backyard makeover — all with five-star reviews, and with five days left to go in the massive sale.

2. Mistana Hillsby Blue Area Rug (2×3′), $44.00 $18.99

4. Darby Home Globe String Lights, $99.95 $34.99

6. Old Dutch Moscow Mule Mugs (set of 4), $153.99 $29.99

In addition, if you have a spendier end-of-season budget, it’s a great time to stock up and save hundreds (if not thousands) on complete furniture sets — with some seriously dreamy, luxury-end designs up to 65 percent off, like this complete outdoor living room with waterproof Sunbrella fabric cushions (!) that’s marked down by over $4,000, or this hip hotel pool-style cabana daybed.

Find more outdoor living inspiration over on Dabney’s Next-Level Original Backyard Makeover — I couldn’t have related (or laughed) more to her “wasteland of dog poop, weeds, and sorrow”, and can’t wait to have at it in my own backyard…once the temperature drops below 100 when it’s not raining.
