Outdoor Party Tip: Plan Ahead For Rain

Parties can be stressful enough to get everything together for. There's decorations, invitations, food, location... and then there's the weather. We ran across one of those "Why didn't I think of that" ideas for combating Mother Nature without the last minute panic attack that a change of plans can cause. Find out what it is after the jump!

Simply plan an extra date. That's it! Plan your outdoor birthday parties outdoors all you want, but on your invitations, include an extra line that tells guests a different date and time if it's raining.

That way you're not worried about cramming 20 youngsters, a pinata, a table full of food, presents and activities into your living room when you had originally intended for it to be outside in the sun with room for everyone to run around and play games.

Plus, if your luck is anything like ours (Murphys Law is our BFF) planning ahead the extra date will guarantee the weather will cooperate and hold off!
