Oyule Light Bulbs

The modern day light bulb has successfully figured out how to go back in time. Just kidding, time traveling may not be possible yet &mdash but turning back the hands of time on your light bulbs may be.

Sergio Silva is the mastermind behind the Oyule Light Bulbs. Modern day take on what once was the only form of light &mdash the open flame. The reclaimed incandescent light bulbs are filled with non flammable paraffin oil and topped off with a fiberglass wick which is meant to replace the filament.

These bulbs aren't going to come cheap either &mdash Sergio Silva is selling each signed and numbered set for $650 (shipping included). If you have that sort of coin laying around, you better act quickly because there are only 66 sets being sold.

If you're worried about the fire hazard aspect of these time gems &mdash don't! Silva has placed a magnet inside the bulb that corresponds with a piece of steel in the acrylic base. The last thing you'd want to worry about is if your insurance will cover the fire damage due to the $650 Oyule Light Bulbs you purchased.
