Paint Color Portfolio: Sunny Yellow Kitchens

Yellow is the energy drink of paint colors, adding an artificial boost of light and zest. It tricks the mind into seeing sunshine instead of shadows, and feeling vitality over fatigue. It's perfect for kitchens. As the vital and active heart of homes, they should be bright, cheerful and stimulating.

Because the human eye processes yellow first, over all other colors, just a splash will do the job. Which means you can paint only the cabinets, like the lead image above. Or, you can throw caution to the wind and cover the walls, trim, and everything in between.
