Q: My husband and I recently purchased our first home — a small ranch in Central Florida with a few mid-century touches on the inside (like terrazzo and exposed beams). We desperately need to paint the exterior of our home, but I am at a loss as to what color to paint it.
Whatever I choose must coordinate with the stone on the front of the house, which has many peach/pink/tan undertones. I do not want to paint my house peach, pink, or tan. I also want to add dimension to the exterior with Bermuda shutters over the windows in a coordinating color. I do love color, and I'm not afraid to choose something a little less conventional. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer!
