Pantone's Newest Color is Minion Yellow
There's a new color in town, and it's pretty adorable. PANTONE Minion Yellow marks the first time in the color authority’s history that a color has been created and named after a character. The Pantone team worked with the Minions' creators at Illumination to find the most pure version of the characters' hue. It's "a color that heightens awareness and creates clarity...the color of hope, joy and optimism," says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.
