Paper Cave Installation in Milan

When I opened up my e-mail this morning, I received a big surprise. My good friend sent out an invite to a secret late night cave exploration. She has been talking about this secret cave for months, so it has created quite a buildup in my mind. Since I have caves on my mind today, I thought I would share this incredible paper cone cave installation I came across.

Designers Wendy Plomp (WND) and Edhv used the paper cones to replicate icicles in caves. They secured hundreds of cones to both the ceiling and floor. I wish I could have seen the installation in person, which was up during fashion week in Milan!

If you ever wondered what it would be like living or staying in a real cave, check out a few of our posts on Cave Dwellings/Lodging.
