Even before working remote, I practically lived in loungewear — and now that I’m permanently working from home, comfort is more important than ever. Parachute’s Linen House Dress is breezy enough for warm weather and thick enough for the colder months. I keep my apartment on the cool side, and the length and weight of the dress work well for me. This house dress is inspired by the caftan; it has wide sleeves and cleverly hidden buttons, doesn’t touch the floor, and features side slits that give it movement. It isn’t stiff, and I love that my legs don’t feel trapped in it. But my favorite feature of this dress by far is the deep pockets. They’re SO roomy, and they really do keep my hands warm. I could totally lounge in this dress all day, whether working or enjoying some time off. Every time I wear it, I feel a little more luxurious in a low-key kind of way.

I can’t stand it when I spend a lot of money on clothes only to find out that they’re cheaply constructed or fall apart soon after receiving them. The Linen House Dress ($129) isn’t like that at all.
