As the weather starts getting cooler and (as we hope for here in California) wetter, all those toy vehicles are going to be more vulnerable to the elements. When my kids were little, our ride-on cars were always extremely dusty and full of leaves and puddles. Instead of wiping them down every time your kids want to ride, you could build this simple but effective "garage" to keep the ride-ons out of the weather.

With just some simple supplies from the hardware store, Sara at Mom Endeavors put together a multi-car garage to store and organize all their family's outdoor vehicles. If you only have one or two, this project would take up minimal space. There's less energy required for parents when kids want to ride, and your kids might even want to ride more when their cars are clean and dry.
