Party DIY: Confetti Dipped Balloons

Balloons are one of the easiest ways to add festive flair to a party. But why stop there? With a little glue and some sparkly confetti, you can add some extra shine to your soiree.

Kelly from Studio DIY has been confetti-dipping everything from shoes to purses, and balloons are the latest victim. We think the results are seriously stylish, and could work at a range of celebrations. She offers this smart tip when using helium balloons:

If you are filling your balloons with helium, so they float, you’ll need to make sure you do not add too much confetti to the balloons or they won’t be able to stay up! It’s best to sacrifice one balloon as a tester so you can see how much confetti it can handle. If you’re just filling these guys with air and letting them bounce around on the floor, then the more confetti the better!
