Party Tip: Make Centerpieces To Go!

Party Tip: Make Centerpieces To Go!

So you've spent all month green cleaning your home, right? You've dusted, you've polished, you've disinfected and more. So what's left to do? Nothing! Sit back, relax, have a few friends over and enjoy your space. And while you're at it, make these cute little centerpieces that can be taken home by your guests!

We came across these sweet little violets with their low foliage and petite blooms over at Project Wedding. Although they're using them as an inexpensive idea for a big bash, we think they'd be perfect for a party at home just the same.

To take this idea one more step in the green direction, try leaving the plastic pots at your nursery (or take them back to one later on to be reused) and wrap the soil and roots with one extra layer of newspaper. Your tiny packages will be able to go straight from the table to the ground without any waste!
